* August 12-15th – Rude Boi will be playing the Gathering of the Juggalos (again) in Cave-In-Rock, Illinois.
New Releases (music):
* On Saturday, May 29th – Rude Boi released the highly anticipated, long awaited sophmore solo release; “Tha Making of a Legend” (14 brand new tracks) to a highly positive slew of feedback! Already sold out twice, the album features the self-proclaimed anti-banger “1 am” (Feat. Ill Bill & LaDii J – Prod. By MBM) & the hard hitting title track “Tha Making of a…” (Prod. By DJ Kev0n). 3 years in the making, this album dosent dissapoint, and is dedicated to Rude Boi’s brother, The Wrecking Ball (co-founder of NR4F) who passed away in 2008. A classic in the making, and a true reason why Rude Boi is one of the genre’s elite.
* Also on Saturday, May 29th, Daniel Black released his 3rd solo release (2nd on Nobody Rides 4 Free) entitled “The Cheese Stands Alone”. This album is tearing up the underground of the 302, with such anthems as “Heat on Blast” & “Born Winner”, people just cant seem to get enough! This is 15 tracks of Daniel Black at his best!
New Releases (DVD):
* NR4F.COM’s web-based-series “Nobody Likes a Video Blog!” is now available for the first time ANYWHERE on DVD! Featuring all 6 popular episodes in their entirety, and MANY MANY bonus features including the never before seen episode 7: “Celebrities of NR4F”, concert footage (including the Jadakiss and Redman & Method Man shows), interviews with Kane Hodder, Al Snow & MUCH MUCH MORE! (TOTAL RUN TIME: 2hr 45min)
* Here it is, AT LAST! “Rude Boi Presents: How To End a Career – The DPA Files” YES! FINALLY! A YEAR IN THE MAKING! This is the complete collection of videos that destroyed a mid-west wannabe’s “career”. Featuring all 4 widely popular videos (The Swiss Cheese song, The Truth, 6 o clock News, Willing to Bet…) AS WELL AS A NEVER BEFORE SEEN MINI-MOVIE “DPA’s Mother Ties to buy weed” (TOTAL RUN TIME: 44min)
Whats Been going on with Tha 4?
* On Saturday, May 29th – Nobody Rides 4 Free hosted the event “Keep Delaware Hip Hop Strong Event @ Mojo 13″ – This was a landmark in the Delaware rap scene, selling the venue out before most shows even start in the state. Featuring some of Delaware’s biggest names as well as some highly promising upcomers. With a staggering 184 in attendence (Mojo sells out at 178), it was the first “big show” of the summer. Fun Fact: The previous record-holders were also Nobody Rides 4 Free, spanning back to May 29th, 2008 – NR4F’S 1 Year Anniversary Show)
* NR4F is in the Betty Ford Clinic (NR4F’S personal studio) recording the first serving from nobody Rides 4 Free as a label. Untitled at time of print, this album features EVERY member of Nobody Rides 4 Free (Rude Boi, Daniel Black, DJ Kev0n, MBM, Mikey D.), more on this as it comes about.
* Rude Boi & J. FRiZ have recorded an Exclusive for the Cartel Radio Mixtape vol. 3 entitled “Human Photo” – Be on the look out for this!
* Rude Boi is dropping a brand new EP on August 12th @ GOTJ featuring Bizarre (of D12), DrangD and other guest spots from the undergrounds biggest names!
Whats the deal with the Wrecking Bowls?
* The wrecking bowls (at this time) is a short lived memory. We havent been able to get in contact with our glass blower for quite some time. As soon as we get it back in contact, we will see bout doing them back up. As for now, Enjoy your 3 series of “Wrecking Bowls”.
New Merch:
* For those of you who havent had the oppertunity to purchase one of the famous “Junk Music” t-shirts, we are proud to announce they will be back in print on July 24th @ The NR4F Presents: Bizarre event. In new bight colors!
* “R.U.De?” shirts will also be available on the 24th. This is for anyone who reps Nobody Rides 4 Free, Rude Boi, or their homestate of Delaware to the fullest!!
